The go to pizza and Italian restaurant for the Yaney's since 1965. That's 55 years folks, must be good.

A local institution always worth a customer's time and money

The prices on the menu on this site are all wrong. I ordered the Tony Special and the site menu says $15.99. I was charged $17.99. The manager told me that other people have complained but that these “are old prices” and “she was sorry” but did nothing to compensate for the discrepancy. Since she was aware of the problem she should have either honored the price or done something to correct the site.

We have had nothing but great experiences and meals from this restaurant. We were amazed by their location and accommodation capacity. Our business conference and private meetings went smoothly. The staff is quick and friendly.

The Villa is a family tradition since I was a kid - heavy helpings of fresh bread, respectable pizza and a good wine selection brought something to the table for the whole family. The dining area is low lit and minimally decorated, but it is rarely very busy, making for a calm atmosphere that makes for easy conversations with the family. This time I had their lasagna, which proved spectacular and not unreasonably priced. Service is always friendly and rarely feels inattentive. One of my favorite places to visit in Michigan.

1/1/19, 11-17-18 added 📷...Hidden Treasure...I drove by this restaurant for years thinking it was either a banquet or catering only business being that their is no door on Gratiot. After my wife convinced me to investigate further we found a Jewel in the area. Family owned since the 50's, Wonderful authentic Italian food, hit or miss wait staff...but have never had a meal that didn't exceed our expectations. Has 1 of the best deep-dish pizzas in Metro-Detroit...Come way EARLY for special holidays. Please give a thumbs up 👍 if this review helps you - thanks

Not too bad. Service was slow at the beginning of the visit even though there were several waitresses and only a handful of tables. Food was good. Bread and sauce was OK. Maybe the pizza is better. Will give it another shot soon.

Had pizza there for dinner. It was fantastic. Service was prompt and the waitress was very friendly and made sure that our meal met our expectations. The one star deduction was the parking. Very tight if you drive a SUV.. Overall, a great experience.

Amazing place! Fantastic food and the staff here are always top notch. The atmosphere is cool and well set up making you feel relaxed as soon as you enter the restaurant. Definitely recommend.

Awesome as usual Be sure to ask for the table oil. Shake it put on plate and add parmesan dip bread the rest is yummy.

"Old School Italian" perfectly sums up this restaurant; I've eaten here many times and never had a bad meal. The food is always to notch. My favorite is the Manicotti Palmino; my wife likes the Fettucini Alfredo and the kids enjoy the walleye and the spaghetti. The food is always ample for a big appetite, the minestrone soup is delicious, and the toasted ravioli appetizer is a favorite with the kids. Always a good value for the money.

Excellent staff. Incredible server, attentive but not disruptive, super friendly, and fast! The food was amazing. Every course, bread, salad, entrees, and dessert were each better than the last. Will definitely be going back.

It's clean and friendly and the service was very good.

The service here was the best I've ever experienced. The entire waitstaff was attentive, speedy and everyone on staff seemed to genuinely care about their customers. I ordered a pasta dish that was very tasty and flavorful. The soup was very good, just a little under seasoned. I only give one star off because I didn't really care for the bread basket, it was just plain bread. Other then that I absolutely loved it and will be returning soon!

I would go as far to say...they are the best restaurant in Eastpointe! Quality, taste, friendly service and its all very affordable! Hands down you must check this place out. They also make one of the best pizzas in town as well!

We have been enjoying meals at the Villa for over 30 years. Still enjoy it to this day. Loretta and the staff ( plus the great food ) really make the difference!

Not impressed. Paid extra for an antipasto salad and it was a garden salad with 4 thin slices of meat and cheese on top.

Everything about this restaurant is wonderful the food is fantastic the person that greeted at the door was very pleasant and the server was great I would recommend it to anyone

Been going here for years! Great people, great food. Just like grandma would make.

Great casual atmosphere. Friendly staff. I ordered the trio - Lasagna was the bomb. Hubby ordered shrimp Alfredo. This dish could feed THREE PEOPLE! Food was excellent quality, great warm bread. We ordered the baked meatballs for appetizer. Lots of sauce and cheese. The sauce was to die for but the meatballs, like the minestrone soup was pretty bland. Ordered house Cabernet and it was good. Only $6/glass was reasonable.

The waitress was horrible, I am very confident that this is her 1st or 2nd job as a Food Server. And I have been dealing with Food Service Employees for the most of my life since our family owns a restaurant in Ohio. This Waitress would have been let go at the end of the night. I love coming there for the Great Food!!!!!

This is my all time favorite Italian place to enjoy a massive plate of spaghetti and a tall glass of wine.

Family owned by friends of mine since before I was born (35yrs). Authentic Italian food in an old style Italian restaurant. You should probably make reservations if it's more than a few people going. Try the lasagna, its the best I've ever had to eat!

Great service, delicious, fresh food that tastes homemade. Atmosphere is “old school” and very cute. Everything is clean and appears well taken care of. Service is warm, friendly & attentive as well. Tonight we got the calamari appetizer, antipasto salads, gnocchi with meat sauce & fettuccine with arrabbiata sauce & meatballs. Everything was fresh and delicious and enough to take home. Love the fresh bread basket with the oil dipping sauce. I’d recommend to anyone who likes classic Italian-American dishes! Take it from a Sicilian and her boyfriend who’s mother grew up in Rome!

The pizza here is amazing, it has the perfect cheese to toppings ratio. The dough is perfect with a slight sweetness to it. The sauce is exactly what a pizza sauce should be, with a robust but not overpowering flavor. It is a must try if you're in the area or just need a pizza to give meaning to your life.

I very much liked their dishes and service, great location next to my apartment. The employees are always very welcoming. Will come visit again.

I absolutely love this restaurant. I have been eating here for years and I’ve never had a bad experience. The servers are all wonderful. The owners are very involved and very attentive to the customers. The food is fantastic. My favorite is the Villa Chicken.

Authentic Italian, scratch made salad dressing, Wow!

The food here is phenomenal. We ordered a pizza with sausage, bacon and extra cheese. The Tonys trio with fettuccine Alfredo, meat lasagna and chicken Parmesan with some calimari for an appetizer. Everything was cooked perfect and the waitress was quick and attentive. I will definitely be back again!

I've frequented Villa's since I was a kid growing up in East Detroit - and have always enjoyed the food.Recently however, I have had two consecutive, unsatisfying experiences:- carry out eggplant appetizer -- eggplant not cooked, mushy, unappealing- carry out antipasto salad -- greens were not fresh, minimal amount of cheese and cold cutsDon't think I would order either again.Disappointing.Villa - you can do better.

This restaurant provides superb service as well as delightful menu. One of my favourite spots around here. The food and drinks arrived fast and the prices are fair. Recommended.

Villa has amazing food. Nice family atmosphere. The Monday / Wednesday special includes 3 topping large pizza, pasta, salad, and a bread basket. Amazing value at 22.99. You can easily feed 4. Highly recommended.

This place is so good the only thing missing is Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra singing. The 1950's style family Italian restaurant with Italian wine, if I can't have Polish food at the Polish Village Cafe then I have to have the bill of restaurant. !A CLASSIC!
